Into The Sun Entertainment Is Named One Of The Sponsors For David Lynch’s Upcoming “Festival of Disruption”
LOS ANGELES, CA, October 11, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ — David Lynch’s immersive Festival of Disruption will return to the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles on October 13th and 14th, curated entirely by auteur filmmaker/artist David Lynch and presented by ALEX AND ANI. The festival will once again unite Lynch’s favorite creatives from the worlds of music, art, and film. Taking to the stage, Amber Tamblyn will read from “Dark Sparkler,” Grace Jones will screen “Bloodlight and Bambi,” and RZA will re-score the classing 1978 kung-fu film “The 36th Chamber of Shaolin,” syncing scenes from the movie with tracks from Wu-Tang’s legendary discography. The weekend will also feature performances from Mercury Revs (in their first L.A. performance in almost 10 years), Mike Patton, TOKiMONSTA, Vic Mensa, Liminal Soundbath, Saint Motel, and more. It will also include art exhibits from David Lynch, Christian Louboutin, and David O’Reilly. Proceeds from Festival of Disruption benefit the David Lynch Foundation, whose mission is reducing toxic stress and trauma among at-risk populations, including victims of domestic violence, veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress, and underserved urban youth, through the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique.
