Seminar offers step-by-step guidance on homebuying process and current market
SAN DIEGO, CA, August 03, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — On Saturday, July 27, Pardee Homes invited prospective buyers to a Homebuyer Seminar at Playa del Sol, located in the heart of Otay Mesa, to provide guidance and resourceful information on how to convert the homeownership dream into a reality.
Currently, one of the biggest obstacles that San Diego homebuyers encounter is affordability. In fact, San Diego recently ranked the 13th most expensive city in the United States. With demand outpacing supply, today’s homebuyers differ greatly from those of the past and are limited, not only by options, but by location. As such, it is crucial for homebuyers to become informed and consider several factors when undergoing the purchasing process.
Among many of the topics discussed during the informative seminar included affordability, income and debt, down payments, closing costs and escrow, and credit as well as the overall advantages of owning a brand-new home. The event also focused on the status of interest rates and programs available to first time or other homebuyers including loan programs through the Federal Housing Finance Agency managed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which exists to provide housing and community development assistance, as well as local resources available through the City and County.
